Return and refund policy

RETURN POLICY, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS

This return policy relates to parts and pieces sold on-line through the www.berdickwindows.com e-commerce platform.

All window and door sales offered by Berdick Mfg. (Pacific) Ltd. dba. Berdick Windows and Doors – Penticton, BC, through the head office, dealer network, or e-commerce platform are custom built special orders and are not returnable, refundable, or eligible for credit of any type.

Return policy for website orders

To initiate a return request, please call 1-800-663-6665 or e-mail berdickwindows@shaw.ca

All returns must be sent to Berdick Windows and Doors, 595 Warren Avenue East, Penticton, BC V2A 3M5

  • Return new and unused items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Items must be returned in their original product packaging including all literature/documentation and original tags.
  • There will be no restocking fee on returns that meet our return policy
  • A 25% restocking charge may apply to returns not adhering to our return policy
  • The customer is responsible for return freight and insurance.
  • A copy of the invoice must be included.
  • A full credit will be issued only on eligible parts.
  • Parts must be returned in the same condition as they left Berdick’s facility
  • A Berdick representative will determine the condition of returned parts and issue a credit only for those parts which are confirmed to be in new condition
  • Products sold in new condition and returned scratched or damaged are not eligible for credit.
  • Cut to size, special orders, electrical parts, and products with expire dates are not returnable.
  • All items sold as dent and ding, factory second, or final sale are not returnable.

In the event an error is made by a Berdick representative, a full credit will be issued for the part or parts in question and no restocking charge will be applicable.

Prices

While every effort has been made to provide accurate pricing, All prices are subject to change or withdrawal without notice. Due to dynamic market conditions, we cannot guarantee the prices displayed on our e-commerce platform will be the same when you order. We will inform you of price changes prior to shipping. All product prices do not include packaging, crating, shipping cost, or applicable taxes.

Hours of Operation

Our normal hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST, Monday to Friday. Website orders placed outside of normal business hours will be processed and shipped as soon as possible.

Back Orders

While we endeavor to ship orders complete, circumstances can vary. In the event a product is not available, we will ship the item as soon as possible or notify the customer of an alternate solution.

Freight

Product prices are displayed without freight charges. All shipments are FOB Penticton, BC, Canada.
Orders are shipped by either Canada Post or FedEx. Shipping costs will be calculated at the time of check-out. Other shipping companies may be used without notice.

Damaged Goods

In the event a product arrives damaged, the purchaser of the product must note the bill of lading before the courier leaves the premises.  Photo or video of damaged goods will assist in filing a claim with the carrier. The claim is to be filed by the party who arranged freight and must include a copy of the notated bill of lading and photos of damage.
